Building solutions that fit
Our approach is built around the idea that building solutions that fit within the wider business context is just as important as reaching technical milestones. In practical terms, we achieve this through:
- Prototyping and iteration: We like to develop working prototypes very early in our projects, because we see this as a key tool to keep work focused on delivering real value, and in harmony with the wider context. The best prototypes by far are ones that have enough functionality that users can get some value from them straight away – i.e. they may not be fully formed, but they're good enough to use right now.
- A collaborative approach: Successful innovation is about matching technology with need, and hence delivering value. Achieving this is as much about communication as it is about technology, and working in an open, honest and collaborative way maximises the chances of success.
- Engaging users: We build solutions which deliver ongoing value - this can only happen if the users engage with the solution, buy into the value it delivers, and are able and willing to make use of it.
